When a raging river stands between Caroline and Coyote Peak, the mountain she aims to climb, she must rely on her fortitude and tenacity to cross the dangerous waters.
Eli, Caroline's Father, tucks her in to bed and tells her the story of Coyote Peak. Many years later, Caroline is on her journey, trying to climb the mountain, but comes against a river standing in her way. She tries multiple ways of getting across - all fail, so she resorts to building a bridge. As Caroline is crossing the river, the bridge breaks and she's swept away by the current. She plummets over a waterfall and finds herself in a deep gorge - she gives up, until she remembers a phrase her Father always told her: "fall down seven times, get up eight." Caroline grits her teeth and climbs out of the gorge to find a new path leading directly up to Coyote Peak.
