Mel, 17, hits her neighbor Elijah’s dog while driving. Elijah works at a corner store that sells meat her family’s meat farm supplies. Elijah has Mel take the dying dog into his garage under the pretense of driving it to the vet, where he shoots and kills the dog to “ease its suffering.” He then coerces Mel into butchering the dog for him, putting her family business skills to use. Will Mel escape? Or will she continue to follow Elijah’s depraved orders?
