Ash takes care of his wife Sage, who suffers from POTS, which makes her extremely fatigued. His love for her is challenged when he meets his ex-girlfriend Kelly on a job near her apartment. She tells him to call her. Over the next while Ash struggles between contacting Kelly and remaining faithful to Sage. He eventually gives in and meets Kelly for dinner, during which Sage experiences a brutal episode of fatigue and calls him home. After helping her, Ash goes to Kelly’s apartment. They make out, but Ash realizes his heart is with Sage when he refuses to remove his wedding ring per Kelly’s request. Ash returns home as dawn breaks, and decides to tell his wife that he’s been seeing Kelly.
