Gordon Geddes owns a car dealership, usually wears a shirt and tie, and even has an assistant. You wouldn’t guess by looking at him (especially with those appearance-altering glasses), but 20 years ago Gordon used to be the superhero, Mr. Magnificent. Having been defeated at the hand of his arch-nemesis, The Puppetmaster, Gordon settled for an average life. Unfortunately, his romantic life has proved difficult as a result of his status as a has-been superhero. So, when things are going well with his new girlfriend, Molly, Gordon decides to keep his identity as Mr. Magnificent a secret.
