Marcela friends unexplainable dies during a hike in the woods. While distraught and confused, her grandmother attempts to explain it to be “El Silbon”, a Hispanic folkloric creature that is a boy carrying a bag of bones stealing souls. Marcela finds herself stuck between the traditions and culture she has always heard and the more logical lifestyle she has come to live on her own. In order to find peace, Marcela must find a balance between family tradition and personal belief. In order to do this, she will have to confront “El Silbon” for herself.
