The Good Guy

A man that has been released from serving a life sentence attempts to do some good in the world.

Jack's ankle brace is taken off. His parole officer recommends going to a shelter and getting solid winter gear. While at the shelter, he meets Claire, a young girl, and teaches her a bit of guitar. When she leaves, she leaves behind her doll. Jack sees an opportunity to do good and tries to return the doll to Claire, but in his attempt, ends up breaking the doll. The next day, he waits at the shelter for Claire, worried about what he is going to say. When she shows up, she's excited to see Jack and tells him about the other guitar chords she learned, disregarding the doll altogether, teaching Jack a valuable lesson about the power of relationship and service.
