This live animation film is about a greenhouse orchid named Slick. The gardener has placed him amidst some Calla Lilies to see if their respective blooms and color might be enhanced by each others presence. Actors and actresses would be in flower costume similar, but different than, the ‘Wizard of Oz’. A couple of sets would need to be constructed. There is a message about personal image and worth inherent in the story. Slick needs to overcome his fears to truly bloom and become his fullest. The piece is character driven. Supporting themes are: Don’t be afraid to let your light shine; and Bloom where you’re planted.
