Arnold wakes in the morning in his apartment office next to a machine that he has been working on for weeks. He realizes why the machine had not worked and calls Billy to join him to fix it. The missing piece is salt for the machine’s conductor which he takes from a Morton salt container (the container displaying a picture of a Lady with a yellow dress). Once the machine is together Arnold turns it on. The machine produces a ball of white light. Arnold decides to try to touch the light. Billy attempts to intervene but is a moment too late. Everything goes dark and the two wake the next morning. They are dazed and their memory of the previous day has been zapped from their minds.
