This story follows Natalie and her twin brother Alan Beck, who both are 27 and Space Angel pilots for the U.S. Space Force. We begin this story finding these two siblings in the heat of a battle confrontation in space when Natalie finds herself in danger of being blown into space from an enemy fighter who her brother can’t seem to get off her tail.
Natalie recalls her time with her brother when they were kids looking through their first telescope when they began their fascination with Space. She recalls her logical view of what lies behind the cosmos as a child while her brother always had a larger imagination of the stars being angels looking down on earth.
We come back to the present space lunch from earth to space as they enter the battle they find themselves at the beginning. As Natalie is about to accept her fate to die with her ship locked onto by an enemies missiles her brother flies infant of the missile taking the blow dyeing into the vacuum of space. Natalie continues on her own for the first time recognizing how her and her brother Alan has always been there for each other as each others personal angels.
We find Natalie sharing her last remarks to her brother at his funeral sharing how he was right about there being angels in space and that she knows he will be up there watching out for her.
